The Directors

Ms. Emma Leah is a founding director and the master perfumer who personally supervises all product design, formulation and manufacture. Emma has studied essential oils, perfumery and natural skin care preparations for over 15 years and has made her products for a variety of private clientele before creating the Fleurage range.

Mr. Robert Luxford is also a founding director the designer behind all of the visual mediums and overseer of all marketing and production. He is also the founding director of Vivid Communications – his own Melbourne based graphic design studio.

Fleurage - Derived From Enfleurage

The word “fleurage” literally means flowers and is a derivation of the word “enfleurage”. This is an ancient process of extracting precious essential oils from delicate and fragile blooms by resting them in pure fats for absorption of their essence. This process came from a time when perfumery was an art form and natural ingredients were revered and valued as precious items coveted and sought for the beauty they could impart. Fleurage only uses the best essential oils and ingredients sourced locally and from around the world in its scented products. The essence of Fleurage lies in staying faithful to these raw botanical materials that create intensely fragrant, almost tangible, auras. This Australian perfume company is the creation of Emma Leah and Robert Luxford. The partnership is a unique and complementary combination of two passionate and skilled professionals.
