Perfume ideas

My current inspiration is coming from the mystery and magic of the masquerade. It is a long held dream of attending the Venice Carnival but regardless of location I am endlessly fascinated by the beauty of masks and grandeur of elaborate costumes.
Masks offer us an alternative way of being. A structured ideal beauty that is impenetrable and forces us to display our emotions and intent through our actions rather than expressions. Masks can let us step through a fantasy doorway, offer a personality or being we can put on and take off. Of course they are the ideal way to hide our true self and our intent as well.

What an intriguing concept for perfumes. A hidden intent, a false front, a structured beauty with something completely different underneath. Mystique, magic, and fantasy exteriors. Hidden, dark and unknown interiors. Scents that cover then reveal other completely opposite scents, or perhaps bottles within bottles within boxes. Many avenues to explore.

I am looking forward to playing with this concept further and discussing the results.

Cheers
