Custom Perfume Creation

Scent Couture is a personal perfume creation designed and fitted to you alone. A unique signature scent that carries the layers of your being in each breath. This personal creation process begins with a private initial consultation where the perfumer asks a series of questions about you to help build your individual olfactory profile. It is important for you to be able to answer honestly and clearly about your likes and dislikes and be able to talk about who you are.

The questions – and their answers – are designed to reveal aspects of yourself that can be related to different scent impressions and it is from this the perfumer cuts the pattern to craft the perfume for you and you alone. It is of course preferable to conduct this part of the process in person but in certain circumstances we are happy arrange to conduct the interview by other means of communication. The perfumer then takes your unique profile and crafts a formulation that represents each aspect of yourself.

The process for formulating and developing your scent will take from 3 months to a year depending on the complexity of the formula based on your olfactory vision.

What you will receive is one Fleurage bottle containing 40mls of either Parfum or Eau de Parfum, a name plate engraved with your name (or a name of your choosing) and code and a Fleurage parchment explaining your personal perfume. The perfume will be packaged in a Fleurage box complete with the components we have with all of our perfumes.

This service can be extended to include custom glass bottles and other types of perfume as well as extra quantities with price set after discussion of your specific requirements.

Terms and Conditions

The base price for this unique and privileged service is $1,600 to be paid at the time of the first consultation. There is no refund for this service once the process is discussed and is considered accepted by your payment. Fulfillment of a Scent Couture contract is not dependent on the appreciation of the fragrance but only on the delivery of your individual flacon of perfume.

The perfume can be recreated at any time allowing for availability of ingredients and notice of four weeks for settling and maturing and will cost $800 each.

Remember that what you are receiving is an artistic fragrance impression of your individual personality. Under no circumstances will the perfumer attempt to recreate another fragrance or accept a request for a certain type of fragrance. On receipt of your unique scent your details are kept on file with your personal fragrance code. Your details given will always remain your property and are kept confidential by Fleurage  until such a time as they are returned to you at your request.

When reordering your scent you must give your special code so no-one else has access to your fragrance. Any recipes formulated by Fleurage remain the property of the perfumer at all times.
